Welcome to the ONLY HUMAN gallery. The images in this gallery accumulatively tell the story of a heritage shared by all humans and a heritage shared by only humans. Individually, each image represents not only the generousity and talent of the photographers that created and donated them, but also the photographers’ answer to the question, “what does it mean to be human.” Over 1100 photographers were received in answer to this question. The final collection contains 94 of those images which touch on some of the more fundamental experiences of humanity: Life, Death, Play Work, Love, War, Many, One. Each thumbnail represents one category in the ONLY HUMAN narrative.
